You've got questions and we've got answers! If you don't find your answer here, please text 508-504-5580.
Who is this program available for?
Our After School Club is open to children ages 5–10 (Kindergarten through 4th Grade), regardless of which school district they attend. While we most commonly serve families from Falmouth, Teaticket, Mashpee, Sandwich, Bourne, and Cotuit, families from all communities are welcome.
Is transportation available?
Yes! Transportation is currently available for with no fee for students attending Teaticket Elementary School through the Falmouth Public Schools transportation system. When registering for bus transportation through the school district, simply select Little Milestones as your child's afternoon drop-off location, and they will be transported directly to our program after school. If your child attends another school, please see the transportation alternatives below. If you have questions about this process you may contact Teaticket Elementary School or Aiden Molloy, Director of Transportation.
What if my child doesn't attend Teaticket Elementary?
Many of our families have found creative transportation solutions, including:
-
Carpooling with another family already attending our program.
-
Hiring a local babysitter, nanny, or high school student to provide a daily pickup and drop-off.
-
Asking a grandparent or other family member to assist with transportation.
-
Coordinating with a trusted friend or neighbor.
-
Arranging transportation with another parent from your child's school who may already pick up their child.
If transportation is the only thing preventing your child from attending, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to discuss ideas and may know of other families looking to coordinate transportation.
Do I pay when school is closed?
Our After School Club follows the Falmouth Public Schools calendar. We are only open on days that Falmouth Public Schools are in session. You only pay for the regularly scheduled program days that we are open. The only exception is an emergency closure. If Little Milestones closes due to severe weather, a power outage, or another unforeseen emergency, regular tuition remains due.
Do you offer care on school vacation weeks, half days, professional development days, or other school closure days?
Yes! We periodically offer special programming on school vacation days, early release days, and certain school closure days. These programs are offered separately from our After School Club and require advance registration. Enrollment in the After School Club does not automatically reserve a space for these special programs. However, After School Club families receive priority registration before any remaining spaces are opened to the public.
What does my child do after school?
Our program is designed to give children the perfect balance of structure and freedom.
Each afternoon includes opportunities for:
-
Homework support (optional)
-
Outdoor play whenever weather permits
-
Large motor play in our Play + Learn space
-
Games and activities
-
Creative projects
-
Time to relax, socialize, and simply be kids
Our goal is for children to finish the school day in an environment where they can recharge, build friendships, and have fun.
What should my child bring?
We recommend sending:
-
Weather-appropriate clothing
-
A refillable water bottle and a snack
-
Any homework or school materials they may need
-
Any personal items requested by our staff
What time does the program end?
Our After School Club offers care until 6:00 PM, giving families flexibility after the school day ends.
Can my child attend only certain days?
Yes! We offer flexible scheduling options based on availability. Please contact us to learn which enrollment options are currently available.
Do I have to pick up my child at 6:00 PM?
No. While our After School Club is available until 6:00 PM, families are welcome to pick up their child at any time during our program hours. If an earlier pickup better fits your family's schedule, that's absolutely fine. We simply ask that you let us know your child's typical pickup time so we can help ensure they're ready when you arrive.
How do I register?
Simply text 508-504-5580 or complete this form to check availability and begin the enrollment process. We'll answer any questions and help determine the best schedule for your family.
